Hi guys:
Can a c6 radio with navigation unit be installed in a c5? I read that you have to take the vette to gm dealer so vin # isprogram in the computer. Other than that is there any other thing needs to be done if this installation is possible? Thanks JJ

The C5 radio bezel is a 1.5 din bezel and the c6 nav unit is a 2din. So it wont fit without physical modifications. There are quite a few vendors here that do that though.

Won't work....
Any so many people pull them out of the C6 for aftermarket anyways.

thanks for your advice miy console is double din. thats why im asking. had 05 c6 and liked that head unit JJ

If your bezel is stock its a 1.5 din and not a double din.
Also the C6 radio is larger than a normal double din sized radio as well.

You will need to go aftermarket to get a double din in the c5 along with a modification.

We can help you with the modification as well and supply everything including the radio needed to do so.
