It is easier to replace the complete pulley. They are less than $20 each and really easy to change.

The idler pulleys are cheap.... don't try to find or change the bearings..
the drive idler is different then the Ac idler.. also unless they changed it since I left, OEM pulleys are plastic and Most after market are metal.
Places like Auto Zone, Advanced Auto and Pep Boys have them for 17 or 18 dollars each.

I believe that Dayco will sell you just the pulley, with bearings installed, but keep in mind that the springs in the tensioners will lose tension over time. Therefore, it's best to replace the entire unit.

The idler pulley (what the OP is referring to) and the tensioner pulley (what you are referring to) are two different pulleys.

The pulleys are not interchangeable as they are 2 different sizes. Here are the part numbers and sizes for Gates pulleys.

Ac drive #36220 (65mm x 17mm x 20mm)
Accessory drive #38006 (76mm x 17mm x 30.5mm)

Now if you need tensioners here are the Gates numbers for them.

Ac tensioner #38196
Accessory tensioner #38194

Typically, when one pulley starts to go they all will in a short time. I replaced all my tensioners and pulleys a few years back with the gates items.
