Next step..NITROUS..but which system for the 2001 A4?
I've done all the bolt-ons..I've done the heads and cam...I've rebuilt the transmission...and the brakes. I'm on the verge of breaking into the 11's and now it's time to do the nitrous!:yesnod:
Which will work best with the 2001 A4.....Wet or dry...NX or TNT..or NOS...or..? Most of you here on this forum have experience with several nitrous systems. I could use some help here:D

I run the TNT kit, and am very happy with it. Its a wet kit, and with the power ring, I think it has the cleanest install. I have mine on a MN6, but picked up almost a second in the 1/4 only spraying a 100 shot. Let me know, I can e-mail you install pics and more info if you like.

its about time  sooner or later we all see the light :blueangel: I have the TNT kit, I have run NOS as well, NX makes a good kit too. any of these kits will do the trick. i think TNT is the best though.

I think they are all good systems. TNT makes a nice power ring that is much less expensive than NX's fogger plate. Also check out the Venom kit. It drives off of the pcm and seems to be a very nice kit. Someone on here just had one installed and loved it...

Go For It Vince. It just goes to show you a little is never enough :D :D
Heck, I was e-mailing you about the PT2400 (which you quickly upgraded   ).
Now I am seriously looking at a YankST3500 2.5 STR   with my 3.42 gears as a possibility or if I whimp out a SY3500, or a Vigilante2800 or 3200 for mainly street duty.
It is fun to watch you in your quest. I bet Nitrous would be a blast :yesnod: :yesnod:
Good Luck and hopefully we will SOON be calling you
"Vince (11 second) Stella" :smash:
Soon you might be calling me "Gary (Low 12's) Talac" once my gears and TC are in :D :D :D :D :D

Don't wimp out dude and do the right thing here for yourself and get the Superthruster 3500 with 2.5 str. This converter is the only one that is really going to make you happy based on your prior posts. Trust me when i say if you go with the much softer hitting sy 3500 you will be kicking yourself in the **** that you didn't go a tad more radical. I know many here who have the ST 3500 and they love it and my one buddy (INtel 55) has cut 60 ft times of 1.61 with this converter at 12.1 ets on stock internal 98 LS1 C5 with 80K miles on it for crying out loud. My new Prothruster 4000 with 3.73s is not that loose at all and feels just like my sy 3500 with 3.42s. When picking a converter look to where you are going with the car in the future as you don't want to keep having to upgrade.
VSTELLA:
I may be following you on the N20 my friend as this will be the cheapest way for me to see the 10s. ONly problem is going with roll bar and cage in my vert for safety.
You for sure will have to bite the bullet and by the ccw drags with et streets and skinnies on the spray my friend with your already healthy ARE heads and cam A4 Beast! :yesnod:
Goodluck, GO TNT all the WAY BABY!

But it will do the job if you are careful. I am!
If you need help, contact me.
ps.
also, I suggest you invest in a bottom end if you go over 150 shot.
That is, if you really want to go fast!
Good luck, keep me posted!

Re: Next step..NITROUS..but which system for the 2001 A4? (vstella)
I've been using a NX 150 wet kit. Through research I've discovered that there jets are the closest to accurate. I also use a momentary switch with my auto., mounted on the stick and using a linelock bottom for the switch. It looks trick, and having a momentary switch allows you to bump it when you need it, just to get a few feet ahead, leaving you in total control. NX 150 wet kit-$500. :)

No, not crazy, just a logical next mod. Smart move, less $$.$$ than a SC or Turbo's. Makes sense to me. Vince, you are thinking in the right direction. Good luck, keep me posted! ....Bruce1

Go with the TNT base kit, but get everything else from NX-Express
It worked out really well for me.
TNT wet kit running 100 shot (like 110 rwhp)
NX bottle opener
Nx TPAS
NX bottle warmer
MSD window

DON'T Skimp on the safety stuff!!! Get at least the windows switch, Fuel pressure and TPAS, and watch your pressures....
I noticed a huge spike at 1200psi with the TNT kit (see dyno graph in sig), so I'll run it at 1100psi from now on.

Let me know if you would like the number to the tech that I spoke to. He is by far the most knowlegeable person I've ever talked to for questions regarding nitrous applications.
