Pretty sure that is just wire loom. It is not a hose. Its a bundle of wires inside. Wrap it with some tape to cover the hole.

If not, the electrons will leak out. Not pretty.

ENGINEERING QUESTION OF THE DAY!

What is inside ELECTRICAL COMPONENTS????

ANSWER

SMOKE. When the smoke gets out, it wont work any longer!

ENGINEERING PUZZEL OF THE DAY

What will the voltage be on the NECK STRAP WIRE??

I agree... Its just a plastic wire loom cover. You can get new at any automotive parts place or Walmart and replace it if its to brittle to protect the harness.

The voltage at the neck strap will be effectively ground, assuming the connections are all good. This is what 20 years experience repairing computers has done for me. I can answer questions like this.
The neck strap is connected to the electric eel, but it is the grounded end of the eel. The other end of the eel I have not checked out.

Saxy, please use electrical tape-an insulator. Duct tape is rumored to be a conductor......

Incorrect info. The dreaded and well-documented electron leak only applies to 2002 Electron Blue models, and then only ones with the Preferred Electron Storage Package (1SEP).

Get it right for gosh sake.

You totally need a new flux capacitor. Do not attempt to exceed 88 MPH till you get one. Fortunately O'Reilly's has them

Ok,,,, Ok,,,,, In Lew of the schematic post, I have decided to throw a massive cook out. My buddy owns a meat packing plant and gave me a hell of a deal on a load of meat.

You ALL are welcome to attend the cook out and C5 gathering.

Please let me know if you are attending:

Bill, the cookout is an excellent idea and obviously a just reward with treats like those shown. My friend Dick told me that the next time we were planning a get-together, he offered his place where we could all meet and have ample parking. I told him that I'd bring it to the attention of the CF members when the time was right and this is it !!!

Let's plan this at his place....

If you were a worker at the meat plant, would you want to be the RECTUM REMOVER or the RECTUM INVERTER? I wonder if the same person does both jobs????

Just thinking out loud.

WORKER: Honey Im home!

WIFE: How was your day on the RECTUM LINE?

Worker: AH, it was OK, Same old SH%@ as the day before :-(
