poly vs, rubber sway bushings
Recently upgraded to FE4 suspension from FE1. Think i will start with stock rubber sway bar bushings. Opinions? Stock 04' coupe.

If you already have the FE4 bushings, I'd go ahead and use them. They last a long time. However, if you haven't decided yet, I would certainly go with poly. I doubt you will notice much difference from only changing the bushings since the rest of your suspension bushings are still rubber. If you ever decide to go with a larger sway bar, a lot of vendors sell them in a package with poly bushings since you will need new bushings for the different size bar. Typically people recommend c6z51 sways for a c5 with z06 tire sizes. Teflon tape is the best lubricant for the poly bushings.

Poli will tighten up everything, some don't like it that tight but it did help with my launching. I had done them with C6-Z06 shocks and Hotchkis sway bars so I can't tell you just how much they (bushigs) helped overall.

you won't be able to feel the difference either way. good end links make a difference, use the 02+ aluminum ones
poly bushings work well in some places and not others. horrible for front control arms but actually really good on sway bars

Thanks for the replies. I don't think poly bushing all around are for me. I'll go with the stock sway bushings for right now. Agreed on new end links, I am approaching 50,000 miles on my current 04' FE1 suspension. The 04' Z06 suspension I purchased did include OEM shocks and end links, being disposable wear items I do not think neither are worth using.
Go with 04' Z06 or c6 Z06 shocks as replacements?
