Default Koni shock install question - resolved

This is wrong, correct? Looks off to me (the gap and loose metal stop thing)... I felt around up top since you can't see and it almost feels like the nyloc nut backed off

*update* Just pulled it, that's definitely what happened. What did I do wrong? Don't want it happening again.

*final update* I can't figure out how to delete this, but apparently I forgot to put on that metal stop on the top and the washer pulled right through the rubber stop!! Dumb me.




For reference, the one that isn't on the car.



Also, I forgot to put the plastic dust boot back on, but I figured it didn't matter since the body was inverted on these and it wouldn't have done anything anyways.
