I use something like that for my PCV system on my 02 ZO6. I have a FAST 90 /90mm TB The 90MM TB doesnt have the filtered air supply port for the OEM PCV system like the old TB and I had to add one. Thats what you have.

Well,,, Look at it this way. If you cut off both ENDS of an hour glass and expect a performance gain,, you dont know how an hour glass works.

Same for your engine. If you add a $3000 CAT Back exhaust system, your engine performance is still limited by:

RESTRICTED, OEM airfilter
Stock compression
Stock intake manifold
Stock head runner CC
Stock valve size
Stock CAM
Stock injector flow rate
Stock exhaust manifolds
TUNING to support changes

SO,,,,,,,,,,,, Changing ANYTHING between the Exhaust manifolds and the MAF requires TUNING!

Your wallet better be flexable!!

You will need:

Engine Compt Harness Mods

PCM/TCM Mods

Crank reluctor hardware/software mods

Knock sensor relocation harnesses

TUNING Up-Grades

Your stock drive train may suffer HP increase issues. READ: Traction, Torque Tube rubber isolators Issues, Rear End Issues,

If your fuel pump suffers at all now,,, Correct before you do the MODs

Bill,
Do you know of anyone who makes a water protector for the filter part of a K&N .... like a bag or exact cover to let air in and WATER out .... I'm worried about water getting into the engine?

You don't have to worry about water with that intake. Unless you cut the shroud below it. You can get the hood seal if you are worried about it dripping form above.

Mines a 99. That is the (IAT) intake air temp sensor. Later models had the IAT integrated with the MAF. So if you don't have that, you should have a 5 wire MAF. I do now, but originally it was a 3 wire MAF and two wire IAT.

You can get the traditional hood seal gasket OR, install the same type hood seal that the C6 uses in the front.

I have an 02 ZO6 and it has a trunk lid. I sealed the entire gap between the lid and body using that seal. Works excellent:
