Default TPMS for 2001 vette

Still a little confused after doing some research. Purchased an 01 recently and tire psi does NOT show in the DIC… it is blank (without xxx) and no codes or warnings. Would this mean TPMS monitoring was programmed out?

Not sure if I even have sensors in my wheels. At first I thought the batteries were just dead, but I’d think there would be some code/warning of some sort.

Thanks for any insight.

there's no codes or any indication of an issue... just blank psi. Seems it has been programmed out.

If install new or refresh the tpms can they be enabled by the typical magnet process through the DIC, or have to code the BCM again?

Thanks for the help.

Did you follow the directions and go into the DIC to pull codes, or are you assuming there are none because they didn't display on their own? If you want help, I suggest you do what 8vette7 said and he can help you. If they are programmed out, they will have to be programmed back in via software, not magnets. Pull the codes and post them.

I check codes often and only have 1 HVAC currently.

So I take the only opt is coded out... which prob for the best if I'm going to track it.

Sure sounds like it's been tuned out.
Wild guess, is your HVAC code B0361?
