Default How's and whys of corner weighting???

If the object is to balance out the car how is it done side to side and front to back? And what would I be shooting for on the weights?

Yes and yes. Generally shooting for LF and RR to be equal and of course both fronts and both rears equal. 50/50 split is ideal but hard to get without losing weight on front especially.

So is this accomplished by just turning the stock bolts up or down, and if so is the height also important in this equation?

Yes. And yes. Also when this is done an alignment will be needed. Which again can cause a weight imbalance. So best to find a place that does both.

Correct! I would never have two different people do it. Have the person balancing and aligning do it. At that point you are guaranteed to have a perfectly balanced ride.
