Default 18x10.5 on 295 tires fit on front?

I've searched, and will continue to search after posting, but havent found this answered safely just yet.

Car is an autocross/track car that will soon live on a trailer. I'm only "daily driving" 2-3 days a month until I finish motor swapping a couple of other cars I have, so, spare me the insight on how it'll handle in rain, puddles, streets, or picking up kids I dont have.

That out of the way: i'd like to run a 295/315 or 315/15, but it looks like i'd have to buy 4 wheels to make the 315*4 work, whereas it looks like i can go all 18's and make 295/315 work, right?

Thoughts/experiences? Thanks, all.

Should be fine, I think 315 is the widest you can run without any rubbing.

Just a reminder, if you use AH, the rear tires need to be .5 to 1.5 inches larger in circumference.

ordered my extra 2 18x10.5's earlier today. just debating between 295 and 315 tires now.. i hear 315 works the hubs harder, and they're a good bit pricier!

They probably do work the hubs a bit harder but the car turns in much better. Four square also gives you more flexibility in moving the tires around to maximize wear, which helps with the overall expense in the long run.
