is there anything special for a c6 6spd to fit into a c5?

I believe 05-07 C6's still have T-56 transmissions, and can probably be directly swapped into a C5?
08+ have TR6060 transmissions, which will swap with a few modifications, but to swap a TR6060 and C6 rear differential together takes considerably more modifications.
Here's a recent thread about it:

Anybody done a C6 Z06 T56 swap into a C5 Z06?
I was looking on a gear ratio site and noticed that the gear ratio of the 2007 T56 transmission is much different than the 2003 T56. I happen to have access to a 2007 T56 out of a Z06 that I can put in my 2003 Z.
I currently have the drivetrain out of the Z. so the swap would be fairly easy.
What I don't know is what mods will be needed to make it fit.
Any insight?
