Default edelbrock 2 piece timing cover leaking

Has anyone had problems with their edelbrock timing cover leaking. Mine is brand new on my new engine and it's leaking around the seal on the removable cover, yes I torqued it and the oring is installed correctly.

Well found out where the oil is was coming from, all the screws on the removable cover backed out. I had to take the water pump back off and I loctited them this time, hopefully they will stay tight.

Weird, because mine is not threadlocked or torqued, just installed them snug with a 1/4 ratchet and driver bit.

Yes I torqued them the first time and within 2 days of break in , they all were loose and leaking, they are all good now, no more leaks !

And use lock washer.
Also - the 3 small nuts on the bottom of the cover need some gasket sealer applied to them before securing the tiny nuts. I noticed a small leak on the bottom most nut, which the sealer easily corrected.
