I was under the impression that the new smaller starters are based off of a newly available Hitachi electric motor and that they might be very similar in design and performance. I think I got the info from glancing through a magazine but don't want to represent it as fact without more information.

has anyone else heard about the Hitachi motor as a base for these new products?
