03 Z06 replacement alternator & water pump?
Folks, is there a good aftermarket alternator replacement? Mine has been determined to be TU, and apparently the nearest GM part (if I even wanted one) is in Memphis.
Also, my water pump replaced just a year ago is leaking...so recommendations there also appreciated.
Thanks!

Even the LS2 is a decent choice as well. Just need to buy the additional thermostat housing and separate thermostat, regardless of which one of these three you go with.

Yes.
AC Delco. Assuming you still have the OE alternator (you didn't say) look on it and find the label that has the (eight digit) part number on it. It may be on the bottom side. It's about 1' wide by approx 2 1/2" long (~). I suspect that part # 10353440 (current part number) is the one you now need.
Seeing as how you have a late model C5 it should be the 145 amp alternator.

Can anyone provide the P/N on the pump and housing? I can't find a good reference anywhere.
Thanks!
Thanks!

UPDATE
Based on the guidance here and in other threads, I assumed as an '03 I would have the later model, 145 amp alternator. This turns out *not* to be the case.
The label wasn't visible as it was on the very bottom of the alternator, blocked by the bracket. On removal, the P/N was 10246634 which Rock Auto lists as the 110 amp with a replacement P/N of 10316182.
The P/N 10353440 alternator appeared to work correctly initially, but then caused the 1637 fault and was very inconsistent - sometimes fine, sometimes wouldn't work at all.
So - moral of the story is yeah, you must - *must* have the actual P/N off the working alternator before making a buy.
Sheesh - it really shouldn't be this hard
