still grinding...HELP
so after help from members over the phone I have changed the shifter bushings and aligned the shifter. it still grinds going into 3rd and fourth and when downshifting. I have already replaced the tranny before and still. what I did notice is the clutch pedal isn't as stiff as when I got the car. so me not being an expert and to the conclusion of clutch master cylinder or clutch.
any input would help guys.
I got it with a tick master cyl. and ls7 clutch

im hopeful its set up properly. when I bought the car the pedal was stiff as can be but when I bought it, that transmission was grinding in2nd. so after a couple years when it finally was time to swap trannys I did. and all was well but after 2 months 2nd started grinding again. I changed shifter bushings and aligned the shifter and now 2nd is fine but still got the grinding in other gears now. and during downshifting

if you turn the car on then step on the clutch and put it in first does it go in effortlessly or does it take a little force? does the car move at all when you go into first per the steps described above?
so if im reading correctly the vehicle was operating correctly until the clutch wasn't as firm as it used to be correct?

sounds like it could be a worn out/weak pressure plate. Or syncro but the soft pedal (if not caused by a hydraulic system leak somewhere) sounds like a worn out pp.
does it feel like the clutch is slipping?
