Default Just bought FRC C5 And..

I had an issue with the exhaust (Axle back) Rotting out. I just bought the car on Monday and already having some issues. The stock exhaust. They (The Dealer) had an exhaust system that was off a "Stock" C5 however this exhaust the dealer installed looks nothing like my previous exhaust. I was wondering if anyone had any idea what it may be?

Now that i re-read this it seems this may be a difficult and broad question to ask, however the car sounds completely stock. Very quiet.

Looks stock, GM had a few different tips through the years. Early C5s had no tips, then they started tack welding tips on.

A couple more pic's of the muffler casing and input/output configuration would help narrow it down.

Yea look at the mufflers. If they are the z06 exhaust they will have "titanium" stamped on them. The tips do kind of look like the ti tips but I doubt the dealer would give you a titanium system... but you never know.

Thats a COMPLETELY STOCK OEM GM Ti system removed from my 02 Z just as it came from the factory after 27,000 miles.

Installed a complete Stainless Works headers and 3" exhaust system back in 04.
