Default HELP, column lock/ fuel shutoff!!??http://images.corvetteforum.com/images/smilies/ack

Hello, I am having the dreaded column lock problem,,, well it is more the dreaded 2mph fuel shut off problem. I have read the sticky but all the links are gone. (last update07). luckily it did this at home. Is ther any way anyone knows how to do away with the fuel shutoff. It is not needed or wanted. I can live with the message (service column lock) my car is a late 1999 a4 automatic. any help would be appreciated. am sick of $300 repair bills and having this car towed.https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...ilies/ack2.gif

Thanks, I ordered the lmc5. I think I will have it tuned out as well, just in case. needs a custom tune anyway. The last one got flashed over at the dealer.... I have no Idea why they flashed it to replace a shifter cable. No more dealers if I can help it. Installing the lmc5 whenever the postal service gets it here. wish me luck.

The LMC5 install is fairly easy and if you have any trouble, Richard at Compliance Parts is fantastic to work with.
