Hello CF,

I am looking to get new wheels and tires for my 2001 vette. I am going to go with upsize Grand Sport wheels from House of Wheels:
Front - 18x8.5, Rear - 19x10. Both are 56 offset. Any thoughts?

For tires, I would LIKE to go with Michelin Pilot Super Sport but dang they are expensive. (I recently put Michelin LTX tires on my Silverado and WOW what a difference) Is there a less expensive tire that will give just as good performance? Should I quit whining and pony up for the MPSS's because they are just that good?

What size tires? I was thinking Front 265/40R18 - Rear 295/35/R19

Don't want them to rub, but I do prefer an aggressive look.

I think the wheel size is stock C6 (with C5 offset) and stock C6 tire size is:
Front - 245/40-18, Rear - 285/35-19

Would I be better off sticking with the stock tire sizes?

Anyone??

I bought TSW Nurburgrings and the sizes were 18x9 and 19x10.5. The tire sizes I will be going with are 245-40-18 and 285-35-19.

I put c6 wheels on mine. 18s up front 19s in rear. I put 285 30 18 on front and 305/30/19 on rear. looks great
