Default Cut Down Washer Fluid Tank

I am thinking of cutting down my washer fluid tank to free up some space to mount my FPR and to cut down on some weight. Anyone else do this?

You could, but honestly that's a lot of work for a very minimal gain, imo.

I don't have any specific experience with the C5 washer fluid tank, but the plastic that underhood reservoirs are made of can be hard to get glue to stick to. You may need to melt/weld it shut once you cut it down.

Hi
I have just installed a meth kit and didn`t want to spray 100% meth on to my windshield so I bought a small reservoir and mounted it on the frame below the brake booster area . Just need to sort a spout for it .
Will take a few pics mate .

Might free up a load of space .

I need to sand it some, degrease it again, then respray it....stupid fish eyes. It also isn't the best job and looks a little ******. Going to get another used washer tank and give it another shot. I think with a little better work it would look damn good. Now I will just need to paint the entire engine compartment lol.

I am not 100% happy with how it turned out, I am going to get another used tank and try a different method and keep doing it until I am happy lol.
