Drag race Friday!
Haven't hit the drags in about 7 months. I have a few new goodies installed (including the Pfadt 1-3/4 catless headers) putting me at 430whp and 390tq. Looking forward to seeing what she pulls out. Those that have followed along with my mods and dyno/drag strip times, I'll keep updated as always.
Wish me luck! Most races have been rained out for the past several months. Excited to finally see some good weather for Friday!
Anyone in Southern Cali that can make it out to the Qualcomm drags, its 30 bucks for the whole night! Come out and have a blast with several corvette owners!

Still running the 3200. We actually found that the new torque gained loosens it up a little bit more. So Im going to see how it works out tonight. I never wanted to loose too much streetability, but its become a garage queen now that I ride motorcycles anyway. So if I replace, Ill go all out with a 4000 or more.
With the new power, and a little better function on the launch, Im hoping to see some good improvements.
My current best on the 1/8th mile is 7.716 ET, 92.7 mph, and 1.810 60'.
Im going to enter in the 7.5 class and see if I can win it. If Im running faster, than great, Ill go for 7s next time. It all depends on the prep of the lanes too.

I did a best of 8.19 at 92.34mph with a best 60 foot of 1.95 on street tires. still no traction, good thing I have the new welds and Mickey Thompson DR's on the way. I'll have to update you on the new times after I get the Dr's on.

Im hitting the strip again tonight! All things the same except a new set of the same tires. Seem a bit stickier. Going for the 7.500 class trophy before I swap converters and do a N2O kit. Then Ill be going for 7.00 flat. Hope I can take it tonight so I can get on with these mods!
Last time hit 7.55, Looking for half a 10th less! Hope I can pull it off!

New tires must make a difference, because I had much better results last night. I took first in the 7.5 class with a 7.511 ET.
I also set my best times ever with several 7.4 ET's with 7.428 as my best. My 60' finally moved down to low 1.7's with 1.738 as the best. MPH stayed the same at 95 mph.
Considering taking a break to get the new converter and gears installed. A Nitrous kit is in the plans too. But I probably won't do that at the same time.

Thanks man ^^^ I didnt know a fellow forum member was down there, come say hey next time!
Those were some test runs. 7.7 times , as you can see they wouldnt put any water down yet and I couldnt get a burn out done. Kept pushing me forward. But luckily I pulled out the 7.511 for the win, and some 7.42's for a new personal best

I did win the 7.5 bracket. Still racing in that one. I've been seeing 7.3's when I go all out, but the weather was so hot and humid last night most of us were about 2 10ths slower than usual. I really had to push it to get a decent time of 7.54.
