ARE Group Purchase on Stainless Works 1 3/4" Long Tube Headers
There seems to be enough interest to offer a Group Purchase on Stainless Works' NEW 1 3/4" Stainless Steel Long Tubes and Agostino Racing just happens to be a dealer of Stainless Work's products so I managed to put this together....
Check out this post for some details and gains that were recently found with these headers by Cruzmisl... http://forums.corvetteforum.com/zerothread?id=341892
Here is the pricing.......
REGULAR PRICE = $999 plus shipping
1 - 4 people - $899 plus shipping
5 - 9 people - $850 plus shipping
10+ people - $800 plus shipping
If you are interested, please reply here, or drop me an email and I will keep track of how many people we are up to.. It would be nice to hit the 5-9 pricing level so everyone gets an even better deal.
Also, make sure to let me know if there are any questions.

Re: ARE Group Purchase on Stainless Works 1 3/4" Long Tube Headers (CBASS00)
Cruzmisl said in another thread that shipping was $15. I think that's from either Ohio (where stainless works is) or New York (where Swaintech is) to Windsor (where Cruzmisl is :)).
Probably be a bit more to Texas.

I might be in......Matt, how are these compared to TPIS....I am just getting ready to buy headers and reading the other posts about TPIS makes me a bit weary. I know that they are not coated, but you don't need them coated if they are all stainless. I might be convinced enough to get them...talk to me.

Well, in the interest of the never ending quest for HP and knowledge I'll try and chime in here.
It is NOT necessary to coat the headers but I decided for the amount of money it costs to do it, it's cheap insurance to safeguard against heat. It can't hurt anything so why not. Also the more heat the headers hold the better the scavenging effects and consequently more HP is made. Actually if you think about it, if the GP price of $800 is met you effectively pay for the coating. Attached below is a pic of mine that were coated by Swaintech which is a true ceramic coating. Jet Hot cannot compare here. That product is more like a high temp paint. Swaintech is not the prettiest but it is the most effective. It has the appearance of spray welding and is very durable. Shipping from Michigan to New York ran just under $20 via UPS ground and likely what would happen is the headers would be shipped to Swaintech before they get to you and could be delivered COD for the cost of the coating and return shipping. Please don't quote me on this as it seems most logical to me but it's not my GP either.
As far as the headers themselves, I think that they are WAY better quality than TPIS and are built by a company that builds headers for Lingenfelter, Mallett, etc. I had zero install issues and made some great power. DADDY LIKE :yesnod: LS1 owners will yield even more.
I hope this info helps.

I will also be in on this. Ideally for 800. What is the time frame for this operation?

Re: ARE Group Purchase on Stainless Works 1 3/4" Long Tube Headers (MattG)
I am interested, but it going to take a few weeks before I know for sure if I can pull the trigger. FYI I am thinking about driving to stainless works to have them install them once I get them from the GP. Thanks
