For those that are always curious how the new BORLA ATAK matches up against the OLD Borla Stingers or SLP Loudmouth... I might just have a video or 2 or answer your questions...

The new BORLA Atak has ZERO Drone at 1700-2200rpm UNLIKE the old Borla Stinger, It has an aggressive idle like an SLP Loudmouth and a WOT tone close to B&B Bullets IMO.

Question, are the ATAK tips oval or round? Would you mind snapping a couple of close-up pics of them?

Thank you for posting these videos... I wanted the Atak but several folks tried to talk me out of them because they said they were too loud inside the car.

I listened to the Borla Atak vs the Corsa Extreme last year at the exhaust tent in Carlisle.

I will be getting my Ataks this month! Can't wait!!!

I'm driving myself crazy with exhaust options and can't decide. How does WOT sound between the old stingers and new atak's? Which is louder, how's the tone different or similar?

I've been trying to decide between corsa extreme, or borla atak's or borla stingers. I've read 100's of threads and probably every YouTube video. Not many c5's around here that I can see/listen to

Still waiting on my exhaust from Borla. Ordered them for my C6 almost two months ago.

Borla has delayed twice. Supposed to ship by the end of July.

Will post before and afters when I get them installed.

How similar is the sound between c5's and c6's? I try to watch the c5z videos with an ls6 to make sure it's the same, or a regular ls1 c5... How does it compare to a ls2/3/7 from a c6? A lot of the borla ATAK I see is on a c6

To me the ls1/2/3/6 sound very similar, and the ls9 doesn't sound all that different either. The ls7 definitely sounds different.

The ATAK sounds great and no drone is always a plus. I like the b&b on mostly stock cars though.
BTW that was a SCARY strapping job in the SLP video on the dyno. Wayyyy too much slack,,,,,

OP I was in your exact shoes. I have since installed the AWE touring and just like your buddy expressed, you will not miss the NPP. There has not been a single situation where I've reached for the mode selector **** and wished I could have engage the NPP. I have zero regrets with the purchase, from sound, to looks, to performance. You will not be disappointed.

Does the dial with sport, track, etc just change sound or the suspension and tightness of the steering wheel as well?
