Default Corvette options

2001 C5
I just received a copy of the window sticker from the Corvette Museum
the car has an option, G92 Special Performance Axle, what does this mean to me. Also car had a total price of $76,725.00 is this real, seems very high to me only real big priced option is F45 Selective Real Time Damping.

I looked in the Corvette Black Book at prices.

For a 2001 convertible. I tried adding up the most expensive options to get to $55,719.

The big ones were,

$47,000 Convertible
$2,494 1SC Equipment Group
$1,695 F45 Selective Real Time Damping
$300 G92 Performance axle ratio
$815 MN6 6 speed manual trans
$2,000 N73 Magnesium wheels
$100 UN0 Stereo with CD
$600 U1S 12 disc changer
$600 Yellow or Magnetic Red Paint

Probably need to call the Museum about the price on the sticker. Their computer probably showed the price in 2013 dollars Vs 2001 dollars.

You have the 3.15:1 rear end gear ratio.

Faster off the line - less gas mileage.
