CARTEK 415 RUNS 10.71 at 130 MPH,Shatters NATURALLY ASPIRATED C5 RECORD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I just got the call,I am out of town working for the holiday weekend and decided to let my Cartek teammate C5PIG have a shot at driving my car,he's a hundred pounds lighter than me and he can drive his AZZ off.This was at Raceway Park in Englishtown,NJ.On his first run of the night with absolutely NO seat time he went 10.71 at 130Mph.The 60ft was 1.59,1/8 mile was 6.92 at 102.28.The temp was 77 degrees with 1250 ft elevation,he backed it up with two more runs of 10.72 at 130,WAY TO GO C5PIG!!!!!!!! :cheers: :cheers: :cheers: :cheers:

This was Mark's first time driving it,he didn't even get to drive it over to the track.This is still with the LS-6 intake and Tpis 1 3/4 headers,Cartek will be experimenting with a new intake and 1 7/8 headers in the next two weeks.I can't wait to see what this car does in the cool fall air at a faster track like Atco or Cecil Co in MD.

After Mark made his last pass I instructed him via cell phone to let another forum member and Cartek teammate,BrentEB02,make a pass and he also ripped off a 10.72 at 130Mph. :cheers: to Mark and Brent,I trusted you guys with my car and you guys DELIVERED!!!!!!BIG TIME!!!!!!It's a great feeling to have so much Loyalty and Trust between Cartek and my Cartek teammates.

Mike I'm still in AWE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :eek: :eek: :eek: That car of yours is a Beast. I must say I suprised myself on how fast I adapted to your car. 1st run I ran an 10.71@130, 2nd run lined up with another Stoker car and went 10.91@125 after missing 4th, then my 3rd run I ran 10.72@130. I wish I had more seat time, the run were I missed 4th was my best 60' of 1.53, other runs were 1.59 and 1.60. Thanks for letting me drive that thing, now you gotta let me drive it at Atco in cooler weather............HOW DO YOU SPELL 10.40's!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Mark and Brent,Keep in mind the motor has less than 200 miles on it,when it gets broken in a little more WATCH OUT!So far the car has gone faster everytime we run it.Wait until the fall,You'll both get another shot at it.I'm motivated to lose weight now.Great driving guys!!!!!!!Sorry you both have to go through the expense of buying a Julio built Cartek stroker,the power is addicting,there's no turning back for you two.

Wait until Cartek unleashes their 454Ls1 and drops it in a lighter Z0-6,this project is a few months off,it could come close to 575-600Rwhp.I wish I could afford one,those C5R blocks are expensive. :eek: :eek: :eek:
