Default Differential side cover leak

The differential on my 2000 FRC has sprung leak. It appears to be the left side cover. Only leak when driven then it looks like it might be spraying out. Is this a common issue on C5's? Changed differential oil and friction fluid with GM spec about 2 years ago.

Theres a VENT on the top of the differential. Inside that vent is a flat rubber disk held down by a small spring. The vent is suppose to let pressure OUT and maintain a very slight vacuum on the diferential once it cools down.

The very first thing that I would check is the vent. They are well known to stick SHUT and allow pressure to build up (hense the leak)

If the vent is not plugged, you just need a new seal:
