Default How to adjust steering gear lash?

I am new to the Corvette world and ask if anyone can direct me to information per adjusting steering lash on 2004 Z06.

I don't think rack and pinion units have a lash adjustment, like the older, recirculating ball, steering boxes have.

The clamp bolt at the bottom of the intermediate steering shaft gets loose and can create slack. You can reach it with a long extension and retighten it. Spec is 25 lb ft, but most guys pull it a bit tighter. Might help.
