We still consider the shocks to be backordered. We can now get the Z51 sway bar kits so order away!

Please let me know when shocks and swaybars can be ordered at the same time. I am assuming that I want the 2012 C6 Z51 shocks and swaybars for my 2001 A4 base convertible

Default Sometimes a 'Visual' helps. here ya go.

Today's project on my '99 Coupe.
The parts you're all talking about compared to the 'oem'.

I should have wiped the old ones clean so you could get a REAL PERSPECTIVE on the shocks. But they're BIGGER in the body. The stabilizers are OBVIOUS.

Great Deal Gene.... Thanks

Sunday Morning Update on this subject.
Road Test at 6:30am (because, obviously) with all the usual suspects either still asleep after last night's 'partying', or enjoying their morning coffee with a new 'friend'.

HOLY CARP!!!

Previously, the vehicle, '99 coupe with 111,500 + miles, that's 100% original including the shocks, would have a 'smooshy, floating, kind of 'not quite on the road surface' type of feeling at 80mph.

This morning, first drive with the new suspension,....

IT WAS RIGHT ON!! Not too harsh a ride on the local streets, and OMG RIGHT THERE on the highway.

With the OPEN HIGHWAY holding just a few Early Birds, it was easy to find long stretches of empty road.... and THAT'S WHERE WE PLAYED.

NOW THIS IS A CORVETTE !!!!! WHAT A RIDE !!!!!

YAY GENE !!!!!! HAPPY SUNDAY!!!

You'll want the C6 Z06 shocks coupled with the C6 Z51 sway bars.

Order your sway bars from GM Parts House. The Z06 shocks are currently on backorder again.

I would recommend the C6 Z06 shocks and the C6 Z06 sway bars if you wanted to go the GM route.

I had this setup installed on my C5 last year and I can't be happier. It's difficult to stay planted into my seat now. So next upgrade -- seats & harness.

Gene - how does GM control their production? Is it based on sales? Meaning, as long as X number of shocks of that year are sold then they continue to manufacture it or do they do a few small runs for 10 years and call it quits, no matter what the demand is?

Thank you for your feedback! GM seems to keep making items as long as there is demand. That's about all I can say.

The end links are $28.28 each and if you contact me directly I would look up the nuts for you.

I'm hoping to order the sway bars and end links in the next week or so. I was thinking it was $28 per SET of link and not $28 each. Just may have to leave that part out when my wife asks...
