Quick question, 03 Z06.

Looks like my rear end links are metal, but the fronts done feel like metal.

Do these come with plastic end links?

It was hard to tell in the garage from under the car. The rears were on the bright end of the garage and i could see easily.

You should have all 4 metal end links -

It may just be dirty - best way to check is either use a piece of sand paper or a scratch awl and see for sure! should be able to tell real easily!

Thanks,Matt

All metal, fronts had brake dust on them.

All parts arrived well packed.

Shocks and sways went on easlily, fronts i had to muscle quite a bit( and yes i can bench 315, joke off the how to thread) but it took about 5 tries to get the technique. The right side was a one shot deal, once i knew exactly how to compress the shock it was quick.

Rears were easy, straigh R&R.

I havent pushed her hard yet but the ride in town is more compliant for sure. My old shocks werent bad, no leaks, but the new ones feel better right off. Ill have a better eval once i hit come curves, the roads in town are so slick my car is basically a drift car around here. Alot of oil field trucks, dust, etc.

Right on! Really glad you got them on and all is working well!

Keep us posted on the twisties once the road conditions are good enough and safe enough!

Is you Vette lowered at all?

And again Gene is by far one of the very best vendors I have ever delt with! Almost as good as RockAuto (Wink Wink Gene), Just playing Gene

Now the next thing to do is to order the C6 Z51 Rotors and Brackets and new Bolts and slap them on, obviously I would purchase those also from Gene - not a better deal out there

Thanks,Matt

Ive got some Baer +2 rotors in back, from a guy on here used, but in great shape.

Im saving for a front BBk kit, but itll be a few months.

The car is lowered, but i cant tell you exactly how much, it's not slammed, but based on the fender heights i saw on here, i'd say .5 inch in front, and .75 rear. There was a thread that showed the fender heights as an average. Im going to measure at the jack points one day, but i need a caliper, a tape measure was too hard to be accuarte.

I defnitely have adjustment left in the bolts. I think(have it written down at home) i was at 27.0 inches rear fender, and front was 26.0. I just rember the .5 inch from avg at front and .75 at rear.

I ordered my set yesterday, thanks for the FAST REPLY, Gene.
Someone posted photos of the two together (original and the new set).
I've got to find that photo. Trying to explain this to my Cranky Older Brother....
Yeah, Right....

We are currently experiencing two different backorder issues with these items.

First, we're experiencing issues with getting rear sway bar bushings from GM. We have been working on getting them and some are trickling in. If you don't mind waiting feel free to order and we'll put you guys in line and ship out the orders in the order in which they are received.

And finally, the C6 Z06 shocks seem to be on some type of backorder as well. It does not look good. It is much worse than the backorder on the C6 Z51 rear sway bar bushings.

I will keep you guys updated.

I haven't installed mine yet, (yes, they arrived).

BUT.... I did unpack them.....

Holy Carp! Talk about a difference..

Like my little finger (originals)

And my thumb (these).

Very happy camper here....!!!!!

I should have ordered the "NUTS" for the metal links.

Be sure and order them..
