Default 12-disk CD changer

How difficult is it to swap out a disk changer from one C5 to another that currently has only a single disk option? How much would it cost to have it done retail?

You need a 12 disk changer, with the mounting hardware and you also need the extension cable that connects the head unit to the changer. Its called a COHAR Cable. The connections for the head unit are in the passengers foot well to the right of the fuse box. One of the connections is easy to locate and the other small one is taped to that harness and can easily be missed.

All the way to the LEFT of this pic are the connectors that the COHAR cable connects to:

Just run the cable around the outside perimeter of the interior.

The install is plug and play and not difficult.
