Default QTP Cutouts

I am looking at the QTP electronic cut outs to go on my XS Power headers and X-pipe. Searched and found a couple of threads includig a couple of installs. Question I have is does the regular round 3" hang too low and would the oval ones be required. Also any pictures of installs showing location on a 6 speed would be appreciated. I am running the XS Power headers through the XS X pipe and hi flow cats, into Ti exhaust with the by pass mod. Thanks.

if you're wanting them mounted sideways at the transmission, i've only heard of the oval "low-profile" ones fitting there.

i've had my round ones behind the diff for a couple years now with no issues. i think it's actually louder that way (outside) but quieter in the cabin. i actually just made a 7hr trip last night with them full open & it was still quiet enough under light, cruising throttle for my wife to sleep

Here are cutouts mounted in front of the axle as exhaust curves upward toward mufflers.
