Default C6 Z06 Calipers on base C5

I have chance to get a set of C6 ZO6 calipers ( front) ( cheap) to put on my 01 M6 coupe (not Z06). What rotors/pads/ (brackets (?) might be needed to make this work? Stock wheels.

Thanks

I don't think C6Z calipers will fit under stock C5 front wheels. I ran C6Z calipers on my old C6 base with rear C5Z wheels up front and they would touch the inside of the spoke on hard cornering. You will probably need an 18" wheel up front and possibly a small spacer.

Default C6 Z06 calipers on C5

Thanks for the replies. I've seen the same info on another thread - and realize this would not be a "cheap" transition....tempted though...

Just need some C6 Zo6 size wheels and 14 inch rotors etc. Wouldn't look right unless I did rear as well.....

Oh well...

Most times you need to contact the vendor on wheels that work, most ca send you a template to ensure any wheels you have will fit.

I'm doin this mod to my FRC, 08 Z06 rotors and calipers, I went with forgestar CF5s 20 x 9.5 up front, and 20 x 12 rears, designed to fit under wide body pieces

Why would you want to put C6Z calipers on? Every C6Z owner I know dumps them as fast as they can because they are some of the poorest calipers around. Save your money and buy some real calipers.

C6 calipers (non Z06) will fit on a C5 and if you plan on tracking the car have a thicker ribbing.
