Default Best replacement front wheel hubs

I need to replace the drivers side front wheel hub on my 99 Coupe, but I'm going to replace both. I've heard some people recommend the Timken Wheel Bearing/Hub assemblies ... are they good, or should I stick with the AC Delco part?

Either SKF or Timken branded front hubs will be fine for street duty. SKF also makes a race duty hub that is a bunch more expensive. I used the Timken and they have held up to five years of street and track abuse. Got them at the local Autozone parts store. I would not use the GM AC Delco stuff currently being sold, there were some reports of sourcing from China.

Make that 4 votes for SKF.

Unfortunately, since they're not a CF sponsor, I'm unable to hook you up with an SKF distributor, who has excellent pricing and service.....

I use Timken front and rear, if money were no object then it'd be SKF.

I used Timken on my rears. Its been over a year. I purchased mine at Autozone with a price match frrom Rockauto. The price match saved over $100 each.

They're not that expensive...unless you're referring to the "race" versions.

Wow, I've never priced them before. Is that considered low?

For SKF hubs, yes. Compared to various other brands, it's about $20-25 more

got my Timkens for around $150 each. Just do an internet search (wink). BTW, you can interchange the front and rear, even though there are 2 part numbers.

Default Timken front wheel bearings/hubs

Thanks everybody. Locally the Timken are $154.00 and the SKF are $350.00 ... I'm replacing both front hubs, so I went with Timken.
