DEPO Headlight Question - Weather sealing?
Hi all,
I'm doing some work on a friends car. One of my tasks is to try and fix a bunch of mis-aligned body parts. This includes adjusting the location and alignment of these lights. I believe they are DEPO??
As you can see there are some ridiculous gaps around them. What I found to be really strange is that there is no weather sealing around them at all. Is this the way they are supposed to be???? or did someone do an improper install??? Seem like water could just run right in and given the corrosion issues with grounds etc that just doesn't make sense.
Is there really supposed to be no weather stripping?
Thanks!

do not install without sealing the edges !!!! they will leak (condensate) mine do and even do it in the garage... I called the vender and they said to pull them off and seal all around the edge.. (why didn't they put a note in with the box with the lights??.). I looked it up on "you-tube" videos and seen some videos showing it... I hope you see this before installing them. send me a mess. if you have any questions...I'll see if I can find the video again.. good luck Bro..
