Brake Caliper Clearance
Anybody know how close a brake caliper to wheel clearance should be? I've only got a milimeter to the inside of wheel. It make me a little nervous running such a small distance. The clearance to the front of the wheel is fine. I'm talking about the inside hoop of the wheel to top of the brake caliper.

That is a pretty small distance. I would be concerned as well. Not sure if there would be any flex from the suspension that would allow for this to rub but I wouldn't think so. In my opinion if it clears...it clears. Hopefully someone with more insight could chime in. I would also ask in the wheel and tire section.

I can't check mine cause I have 18" in front now, but I remember when I had the stock fronts the calipers were REALLY close to the rim (probably 1-3mm). So what you're describing sounds normal.
You should be fine since the caliper bolts to the spindle and when that moves your wheels move with it.
