Welcome to the madness.

Btw, did you check the trunk for dead bodies before leaving NJ?

Congratulations. Great looking car.

I am partial though. I have its twin (except '99)

They are really good cars for a road trip. Hope you enjoyed the ride.

Thanks everyone, I detailed it and WOW the paint looks like it should still be sitting on the showroom floor!! I also changed the trans and diff fluid. Trans fluid looked brand new and diff was definitely spent/a little low. I cleaned everything down there and will keep an eye out for a leak. I still need to flush the brakes because the fluid is dark brown and change the antifreeze. I have a B&M Ripper shifter to install and in the market for a sound system because my CD player and changer do not work.

Little background info on me:
I am 23 years old and work for Jasper Engines and Transmissions as an Advanced Customer Service Technician specializing in automatic transmissions. I graduated from Southern Illinois University with a Bachelors in Automotive Technology. I am an ASE Certified technician (which honestly means you know how to take a test). And I have been a Corvette fanatic for as long as I can remember. I am absolutely ecstatic to be the proud owner of one of these machines!! I look forward to mingling with this great mature group of people!

Congrats !

Thats one heck of a drive back. Surprised that the car has the plate cover on the front being that NJ is a front and rear plate state.

Great looking ride !!

Enjoy

Got a secret for ya. That ecstatic feeling you are experiencing at 23 - it never goes away. I just made it back to Vettes with my "new" 2001 Coupe. I'm pushin' 70 and I have that same feeling.
Stay with this forum! These good folks have set me on the proper path many times when I could have gone down a dark path with my wallet open. I think you have arrived at your destination.
