(Sep 2012) Fender hitting the door slightly?? check the middle screw alignment.......
I see this often on darker color cars from the south(high heat)
There is a 7mm head screw located on the aft mid fender, this helps with alignment and keeping the center of the fender 'in' so it will not sag...........the screw is installed from fwd to aft......making the inner fender aft closeout panel removal necessary
There are some cars with horrid alignment at the door/fender/hood area, this is not always indicative of repair/part replacement
Of course the lower fender mount is often "RIPPED OUT" on about 20% of the C5's I see, the 7mm screw attaches to a nutplate on the fiberglass/SMC rocker, you can use a nylon spacer and drill a pilot hole directly into the frame to avoid the "FENDER FLAP"
