Have you done any research on this?
Do a Google and you will find a video of installation.
I'm curious if this is different than any of the other total scam pieces out there.
I recently bought a '01 300M Special from my neighbor.
He talked about having a performance chip in it.
The car needed some things fixed and one of them was the AIT sensor as it kept throwing a code for it. Low and behold that is where the "chip" was installed.
I removed it and proceeded to take it apart to verify....yes, all it contained was a $.05 resistor. Oh it did also contain a piece of cardboard and a huge glob of heat glue where the resistor was hidden inside.
I hope your device is something legitimate, but I would have to bet against it.

Do not hack up your harness for this scam, get a refund if you can. Cleaning the MAF, SeaFoam-ing the combustion chamber, installing a drop in K&N filter, implementing the zip tie mod (or the flip tie mod if you're feeling frisky), and an idle relearn will net you far more gains than this crap.
Don't disrespect the heritage of that Z with "snake oil" products, throw those in the bin with *****-enlarging pills and hair re-growth products!

The attached pic shows the MAF Sensor connector and associated wires by color/function. If you can't figure out from the pic how to get where you want to go, then you better stay away from this mod.

Have you researched HOW it increases HP? The only thing it could possibly do to increase power by the slightest bit is trick the computer into running a leaner air/fuel ratio based on the altered readings it's getting from the MAF. Too lean a mixture and BANG, there goes your engine! It's your car, do with it as you wish!

DO NOT INSTALL A PERFORMANCE "CHIP"!! I would also stay away from the handheld tuners as well. You want results and piece of mind, have a reputable tuner put the car on a dyno and tune it after you have done some airflow mods I.E. Intake/exhaust...
"chips" are a gimmick and dangerous to your computer system and engine.

I really want to believe this isn't a serious question, but someone considering hacking up their wire harness I have to believe is serious.
To the OP: DON'T INSTALL THAT JUNK!!!! Seriously listen to the guys posting on this thread and run away from that snake oil. You've got a great car as it is in stock form. If you can't afford to mod it properly, then don't try cheap tricks. There's nothing wrong if you can't afford quality mods as you've already got a Vette. You are going to end up costing yourself a bunch of money down the road in repairs when this thing goes **** up. Save your money and avoid having folks make fun of you behind your back.

What do you mean, "not to hijack the thread"? That exactly what you did, with a subject matter that is completely unrelated. ....but, it's a lame thread anyway.
