Everyone that has had a leaking rear differential or tranny seal
If you have had an leaking rear end seal or tranny seal please post the year and miles when it first occured. I am curious if this is common for all c5 or just certain years or if it happens by miles. Also any mods that may have put more stress on these parts.
It appears that some have had an ongoing problem with this.

2000 coupe, 3.15 A4, stock. Started leaking at approx 16,000 miles.
Dealer changed left case O-Ring. Solution remains sound today, 10 months later and now at 23,000 miles.

Just started leaking @ 8,000 miles and 18 months old.
Mods are exhaust and intake only.
At dealer as we speak. I've only found about four drops so far
but the driver's side of diff case is wet...GeorgeC

Mine started with an occasional drop on the garage floor at about 12K. Got ALOT worse at around 33K when it started leaving spots all over the rear bumper after a hard drive. Got it fixed under warrantee at about 35K. Now at 50K it's still fine. I'm not even sure where the leak was, they pulled the whole driveline and re-sealed everything. The whole tranny/diff was wet when I took it in. It seemed to start on the drivers side however.

Did a carrier swap at 65K, with a 12K carrier, driver side output shaft seal began leaking badly at 67K. Simple fix to replace side cover o ring and shaft seal. Glad it wasn't the seal plate between tranny, that would take a lot longer. Here's what I did to fix: http://forums.corvetteforum.com/zerothread?id=297199
Couldn't believe how porous the casting is, worm holes!

The only problem I had was after running 1/4 mile one night. Talked to my mechanic (a very good/trustworthy one), and he said that's somewhat normal when you run them hard for a while. Not sure this helps a lot - only one occurrence / one opinion. Never had a problem with everyday driving.

Re: Everyone that has had a leaking rear differential or tranny seal (NOT HRZ)
He does have a point. Mine wasn't leaking until I did some real hard pylon-type turns, so I figured I sloshed the oil up over the seal. That's probably why lowering the level is a sometimes fix.
