I'd like to replace the shocks on my 2003 Z-06. I am looking for improved handling.
I have heard that the 2004 Z-06 shocks are stiffer than the 2003 but that the C6 Z-06 shocks are better and less expensive.

Please educate me on the differences.

Not stiffer but better dampening charateristics, I have a set and noticed an improvement when autocrossing. The C6-Z06 shock's dampening rate is calibrabrated for the C6-Z06's suspension set-up.

Who has the best price on '04 Z06 shocks? I should replace mine as well.

04 C5 Z06 Shocks are awesome but like 8VETTE7 said they are more expensive. I found a very lightly used set with only 13k miles on them for $100 Shipped for all 4. Unless you can find a good deal - then the C6 Z06 shocks are a good way to go.

Not only that, but they have essentially the same damping rates as the 04 Z shocks. Perfect match for only a bit more than the 06Z shocks, which won't last as long.
