Default rear pads too small?

Hi guys,

I have a little problem with my rear brake (all stock).... not a real problem only cosmetic.

please have a look to this picture:

I think the pads are too small for the disk. Our local GM shop means that's normal for a C5 rear brake.

I can't believe it
Are there wider pads available?

thx

PS: sorry for my bad english

None that I am aware of. Your photo looks pretty typical of the pad coverage area on the rear rotor.

PS: your English is just fine.

The picture shows the normal amount of pad contact on a rear rotor. I do not know of any manufacturer that makes a larger size pad for the stock caliper.
