One headlight won't pop up
The passenger headlight wont pop up on my 2001. Strangely enough when it's raining it works fine, could it be a ground issue? If so is there a ground strap for the headlight motor? Or what's the probable cause? I have gotten it to work by rotating the motor dial on the back of what I assume is the motor. When I do this it seems to be a bit noisier than the left but is still smooth and without any grinding sounds?

went it doesn't work, can you hear the motor running? I ask because I owned a 98 that did the same thing, work only when it rain and it was the door mechanism worn, dirty and rusted. Rain acted as a lubricant. I know it sounds crazy, but it happen.

Sounds like your headlight control module is taking a dump. It's under the passenger side headlight. Doesn't sound like a ground issue to me. I had the same exact issue on my 2001 same side same issue.

Where is it exactly and what does it look like? Is the module from a '99 the same and is there any way to test them? And do the lights (L & R) share the module or are there 2, one for L and one for R ?
