oil sending unit
OH man just finished changing out oil sending unit was pretty hard but managed with the help of MR. BILL CURLEE'S post on how to replace thread thanks took 3 hours to remove and replace unit not to bad next time it will be faster. Torque wrench from Harbor Freight worked just fine now 2maro i will put the car up on ramps and add degreaser to the back of the block where oil was dripping to and yes it was the sending unit it was all full of oil around and on the sensor. Again easy to do with the right tools and an ice chest full of beer . Thanks again Mr Bill for the help oh and now oil pressure is at 45 psi.

glad to hear you got this done. I'm about to embark on this over the weekend. the main reason for the job is to swap to an LS6 intake but the hot-rod gods have smiled upon my by letting my oil pressure sending unit die BEFORE I swapped the intake as opposed to after seems like a good break to me. any chance you have a link to Bill's write up?
