I checked with my son who is a regular Amazon customer and he said yes, in Kentucky where they have a physical presence they collect sales tax. Means an extra $21 and change for me but still a pretty good deal I suppose.

It's called the Vette tax and is way out of line.

You're welcome. Throttle response feels better. It also feels like you don't have to push the gas pedal far at all before things get moving. And as we used to say when racing moto x, "when it comes on the pipe - hang on!" I am very pleased. Only other mods are Blackwing, and XS Power headers with x pipes, and high flow cats.

I inquired into it but I did not send it there.... They said I would not get my brand new throttle body back in return.
Bad way to do business in my opinion ...
I bought a brand new throttle body for a reason. Not so that I get back a high mileage throttle body...

I sent Pete my new one, he ported it and sent it back to me. I told him that's what I wanted. How do I know he did it that way? Secret markings. He even enclosed a slip that showed the numbers after porting.

Btw, when I spoke to him he said he has some new ones on hand that he keeps ported for his exchange customers.

Strange... that's not what I was told on the posting about the V-max. I was told that this is an exchange program. I would not get my new one in return... Oh well... Maybe they changed there minds since I asked.
