Front 295s rubbing
I'm running 295/35/18 on all 4 corners and ever since I lowered the car (~3/4") the fronts rub the inner fenders on tight turns. I installed a set of 5mm spacers which helped, but I still rub at full lock.
Question:
- Is there an inner fender liner in the front that can be trimmed to give a little more room?
- If not, does anyone make/suggestion on how to make a travel limiters for the rack?

The front inner fenders on the C5 are epoxied in place to the frame. You could cut them out and try to make some crazy custom setup, but that'll take a lot of time and/or money. Even so, I think the back of the inner fender is already up against the frame, meaning you couldn't push it back anymore anyway. You could get front wide fenders if you can find some (I believe some 3rd parties make them).
I believe you could simply make some extra plastic (delrin would be good) washer/spacers that go inside the steering rack to limit the angle of travel in both directions. You'd have to take the rubber boots off the steering rack to access the area, but should be able to do it while the car is merely jacked up.

Most of us that are running 295-315s up front are running shorter diameter tires than a 295/35.
A 295/30 up front would reduce much of your scrubbing.

Are you rubbing on the sidewall or diameter of the tire? I think some cars depending how low you are with a 10.5" rim & 295 will rub, I think there is a product available but not sure what it is exactly, one of the guys here at work has something on his autocross car.
Also just do search for a rack limiter.
I found this.
