Default Wierd LED Problem Experts Needed

Car is a 01 C5 coupe M6 Led-Rearview Mirror. Everything has worked perfect until I ordered LEDs which includes the bulbs for the trunk lights and LED strips for the footwell lights all Led bulbs are plug and play, they all light perfect. I have a Escort Radar Detector that plugs into the rearview mirror with a quick connect pigtail that slides into the mirrors power outlet, which means if I have the doors closed and the car running the radar detector will power on. Here is the problem-with everything pluged in all the LED lights including the mirror lights will stay lit up if the car is running, if I unplug the radar detector everything works perfect. It seems to me like the radar detector is backfeeding the LEDS-which the Radar is getting its power off the mirror itself from the quick connect pigtail. Im wondering if its a wiring problem. Do you know of any solution that would allow me to keep my LEDs and Radar Detector quick connect? Or should I just give up on it and run the radar detector off the radio ignition wire and just leave the mirror alone?

From what I recall, there are 2 power feeds on the back of the rearview mirror, use a test light to see which one is switched,I cant remember off hand which 2 colors I used.

Default LEDs

I think, from what i have read on the forum, that there are three wires in a taped bundle near the passenger side floorboard fuse box. One is yellow, one is orange and one is black. I think either the yellow or orange is switched. Should be easy enough to figure out. Black is ground. You could route your quick connect wiring under the carpeting. Just a thought. A fuse in the line might be a good idea also.
