Default Headers

I am having a hard time finding a mfg that makes long tube headers for an 02, Hooker,no, Hedman, no. does anyone know of a quality mfg that makes LT headers,or have had a good experience with lesser known brands ? I was going to go with the shortys that bolt direct, but I understand there is insignificant power gains.I looked into the XP,but the sale is over the end of the month, and I don't want to rush into spending a wad and find out it is not going to work out.
Thanks

Besides LG, there are American Racing, Kooks, XS Power, OBX, Dynatech, B&B and probably others I have not mentioned. I am sure others will.

AMERICAN RACING HEADERS!

There OUTSTANDING!

Will you be attending Corvettes At Carlisle this August?

If so,, bring your car and you will be able to personally see all the brands offered and several of the Header vendors install them while you wait! The Boys in the ARH tent can install your ARH system in 2 HRS!

I have a COMPLETE Stainless Works 3" System on my 02 ZO6,and Ive installed American Racing Headers on several C5. Let me tell you,,,the Stainless Works Headers, & ARH headers install excellent, fit excellent and perform excellent!

STAINLESS WORKS on the 02Z:

The XS Power headers worked Excellent on my 06 Coupe and performed excellent!! They install in approx 3 hrs on the 06 Coupe from under the car on jack stands!

I just purchase a 2011 Inferno Orange MN6 Grand Sport Vert last Oct. I talked to Nick at American Racing Headers and I will be installing ARH Headers on the GS soon!

Bill

ARH had been the flavor of the month on this forum for about 2 years, so that's a pretty good testament. I've had LG Pros for about 8 years, and even there's alot more brands available now, I wouldn't consider anything else. The guys at LG give outstanding customer support, as well.

I run the XS powers on my vert... They installed pretty easy and I really like the exotic tone in the exhaust rumble they make!

Lgs super pro headers have excellent fit, you will however most likely need to buy some new exhaust clamps as the ones supplied dont do the job too well at all. Plus Lg has some of the longest headers out there and the collectors/ x-pipe look like some of the best ones on the market but thats my opinion. The only complaint I have is the clamps other than that everything is top notch quality.
