Moved the steering rack and didn't see the wires. They are broke about 8 inches off the rack. I can't track where they went into and I had no luck searching for a schematic. Any help is greatly appreciated!!

What are the wire colors of the broken wires ?

2 wires. One black and one red. They are coming directly off of the steering rack. I think it's called the direction control? Thank you for the schematic. I'll post a pic when I get home on the pc!

It's called magnasteer......and if you tore the wires off the rack, you'll be replacing it. If you just tore off the connector...you may be able to repair.

Sorry Lucky! It's not my car but I should have added info in original post. Car is a 04 Z06.

I ASSUME this is the connector the wires go into?


The magnasteer connector is in the same harness as the fan connectors correct? I just need to know which slot(A/B)the red and black wire go back into the connector.

Black to White.
