Ever seen intermittant dashes on HUD?
I've had this ongoing problem for probably almost a year now, that my HUD will just display two dashes " -- -- ". I always put the battery tender on at night, and the HUD works fine for about 2-10 mins every day, then I get the dashes. Occasionally during my drive it will come back on for a short time. Last year I would also get Check Engine and Traction Control lights when the problem was happening. I'm thinking it's an electrical problem, but I've tried to check all the easily accessible grounding points and they all looked alright.
Has ANYONE ever had this problem before? Any help would be much appreciated! I need to sell soon to make room for a family friendly vehicle and I refuse to sell until this problem is resolved.
Thank you!

Well, that sort of leaves the serial data buss to the IPC or a bad IPC. I would start by looking at Bill Curlee's photos of the door connector's with the serial buss pin/contacts that get lose.
