C5 aftermarket radio (clicking relay 43 acc off)
Today i attempted to install a aftermarket head unit so i can have blutooth while driving, its nothing fancy, and pretty standard in the terms of car audio.
I soldered and heat shrank the Pac bypass wiring and harness (i work in automotive wiring so its almost professional)
everything seems to work fine, but when i turn off the car i hear a clicking on the 43 relay (bose) this clicking will not stop until i disconnect the radio, or pull the fuse.
after some more digging i have also removed the power antenna/amp wire and that has stopped the clicking, but doesnt allow the amp to power on.
with the radio on the antenna/amp trigger wire has 12v, with it off it has 0v
any idea what is going on or a remedy?

The the control for the Bose amp and power antenna is the green wire on the C2 connector. Not sure what signal from the radio the PAC uses to create the antenna or amp turn on signal to control the relay. Maybe your radio has a problem with this or the PAC interface is defective. Check the voltage at the green wire when you shut the radio off. You might have to run your own acessory wire from the fuse panel the spare wires near the BCM exc 2004.

Recently added a JVC Bluetooth head unit myself. I can't speak to the PAC as I used the Axxess XSVI-2004 unit. I know the instructions putt extra emphasis on the power wires which I dorked up first go around (my amp wasn't coming on). Re-read instructions as I know I missed something the first go around (3 reds to 12v hot instead of the traditional one as in most cases). You'll get it man...or buy the Axxess unit. Once I got the red wire situation sorted...it's functioned flawlessly ever since.
