Default AFR Heads

Who is running the new 210 heads? If you are running AFR Heads what are you doing for valve covers or coil pack mounts?

Thought Id learn something new real quick from ya. Why are they doing 210's so close to the 215's?

I always thought the 215's were for the Stock CID LS1, What would be the use of 210's?

Thanks

I am sure you could use the factory valve covers. You can on the 205s.

I am running 205's with stock valve covers, although I did do some clearing work inside the valve covers for the rocker arms. I have several threads in the archives on my 205 setup preparation and installation.

I checked your profile and since you have a 97 you will need a later set of valve covers. I found my set with an 04 valley cover brand new on fleabay that were removed from a crate motor.

Default Just looking

I was just interested to see if anyone on the forum was running these heads. I was reading the AFR catalog. I am going to do a HC package in the future. I have had people recommend all 3 of these heads. I understood the 210's were new just interested to see what people thought of them. Every vette shop has their personal favorites. I like hearing from the actual users. I am not ruling out anything. Trick Flow, Patriot any of them.

I thought the 210s were going to be replacements for the 205s?

Default Heads

I have a 2010 Catalog and Tech Guide AFR just sent me. Doesn't mention anything about discontinuing the 205s. Doesn't sound to me like many people are using any of them. I am kind of surprised.

They don't show the 205 on their website. The 210 has the same part # the 205 had.
